Tessa Prim
I'm a 16-year-old multi-sport athlete from Indiana. I play softball and basketball, including travel softball with SOX Fastpitch.
Before softball and basketball became such a big part of my life, I was a competitive gymnast for eight years. I was fortunate enough to place second in the nation in one of my events. Gymnastics taught me discipline, consistency, mental toughness, and how to keep pushing myself even when things get difficult. Those lessons have shaped who I am as an athlete today and continue to carry over into everything I do.
My faith is also a huge part of who I am. Above all else, Jesus is number one in my life. I'm so grateful for every opportunity God has given me and for how faithful He has been to me through every season of my life. I want to use the gifts He has given me to work hard, encourage others, and glorify Him both on and off the field. My identity is rooted in Christ, not in my accomplishments as an athlete, and I hope that through my journey, others can see His love and faithfulness.
Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a career in the medical field, with the goal of becoming a pediatric orthopedic nurse. I'm hoping to begin that journey by becoming a CNA or medical assistant and gaining experience in healthcare. I'm excited to see where God leads me and to continue using the opportunities He gives me to serve others.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity to partner with
Sports and excited to represent a brand that is now a part of my athletic journey!
